MDM Roadmap

Are there any updates to the MDM roadmap from the presentation dated Oct 7/05? link ==> https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/d0a5d924-0701-0010-b598-d63...

We are particularly interested in any decisions on synchronization with the NetWeaver stack, and verification of the feature set and timing for the '06 release. The way I'm reading it is that MDM 5.5 is basically an enhanced version of the A2i product that is still running on the legacy A2i engine. Could you clarify?

The roadmap in the presentation also indicates that full ESA support will be provided in '08, which seems to be lagging behind the goal for the MySAP business suite to be fully ready for ESA in '07. At the same time, MDM is being presented as a critical component for ESA design and operation. The timing doesn't seem to be lining up. Maybe you could help me understand this a bit better; I may be missing something.

I appreciate the information. This is a nice overview of functionality in MDM, but I would still like to understand the specifics of MDM-related architecture activities in 2006 that I listed in my note.
