position assignment

A position is already occupied hundred percent by a person who is going to retair by the end of this month.Is it possible to assign another new person to the same position.Pls suggest the solution.

hi,

you can assign any number of persons to one position but only thing is once you assign the system will give a warnign mesage saying that the utilizations of the position is more than 100%, but we don't consider this messge. once you terminate the other empoyee everything will work fine no worry you can assign any number.

A position can be occupied by more than one person even if its 100% percent occupied . There is no problem with that.

U can assign any number of employees to an position...if u assigned an employee 100% to an position...u can't assign that employee to another position...with weightage percentage...
