Hi SAP Consultant,

It might be better to post this in the SAP Business One main forum rather than the SDK one as I would say posters here won't be as familiar with XLR.

This issue could be caused by an old standalone version of XLR being present.

If Your database version is SQL 2000:

_____________________________________

1.Start the Enterprise Manager from the Microsoft SQL Server program

folder on your Start menu.

2.Browse down to your Business One database, expand and choose tables.

Right-click the table called "ixtdbversion" and choose Open table ->

Return all rows.

3. In the column 'Partner' change the text from SAP to SBOOEM and press

Enter.

4.Close the Enterprise Manager and start the add-on. The XL Reporter

information in the database should now be upgraded.

If your database version is SQL 2005:

_____________________________________

1.Start the SQL Management Studio and go to "Object Explorer".

2.Browse down to your Business one database, expand and choose tables.

3.Right click the table "XRDBV" and choose "open".

4.In the column 'Partner' change the text from SAP to SBOOEM and press

Enter.

5.Close the "SQL Management Studio" and start the add-on.The Xl

Reporter information in the database should now be upgraded.

Please also check SAP notes 847981 and 1023976.

If you are still encountering the same issue, 9 times out of 10 it can be useful to just uninstall and reinstall XLR. There is an EES which shows how to do this while cleaning the client to eliminate any issues with old versions of the Add-On:

Go to service.sap.com/smb/sbo -> Click Support on the left of the page. Now click "Expert empowerment Sessions" on the right of this page. Change the Date From parameter to 01.01.2000 and search for "XL Reporter". In the results you will see "Troubleshooting XL Reporter by making a complete reinstall (using MSSQL 2005)" CLick "Recording" to download the file. In the zip file is a PDF detailing what to do as well as a webex recording of the live session.

Hope this is useful to you,

Regards,

Niall
