PRT life monitoring

I have an PRT as an equipment & it is installed at vendor site. Vendor uses the PRT (die) to manufacture some component.

Vendor supply the finish good to my plant.

i want to monitor life of the PRT . for that I have created a measuring counter. Scenario is that whenever GR(MIGO) is being done for the produced component a measurement document for of same number should be generated in the system.

please suggest me on this.

I do not think it it is a std SAP functionality.

You may have to go in for a custom programe to trigger a measuring document while you make GR for the product.
