sap experts:-

in product costing, i have one clarrification

3 differetnt vendors, 3 different materials, for the manufactruing purpose, here 3 different 3 different material price different,

eg:- RM1-----100/-

RM2 150/-

Rm3 125/-

this scanarion in product costing in cost sheet, i want AVerage price want updated(100150125)/3=eg125/-

how its comes, configuration or how the system is updated,plz help for me

If there are 3 different materials with different specifications, then those 3 materials might have configured in BOM. In product cost the moving average price is automatically picks up while cost release.

Otherwise if one material with different source of vendors you can make one material code and same in BOM which will take the Moving average price of that material in product costing.

In the MM (Material Master) each item will be shown separately as such you can maintain different price for each of them. Coming to costing, all these 3 different items of materials are consumed in one process hence may get debited to one (same) material consumption account where one can find all the cost together thereby you will get the desired average price.
