Dear All,
We have an accounting document type AB for which no line items have been created.
I checked in table BKPF the accounting document exist.
But in table BSEG we have no entries for the document which confirms the above observation.
When I go to the document header info. it tells us that transaction is BS1D.
Questions -->
1. Is it possible to post a accounting document with 0 amount.
2. How can we post an accounting document without any line item.
Thanks and regards,
Priyajit.

... but you will find the document number as clearing document in the cleared items - see BSEG field AUGBL, Document Number of the Clearing Document.
You may find the cleared items via table BSAD where BUKRS = BKPF-BUKRS, AUGDT = BKPF-BUDAT, AUGBL = BKPF-BELNR

Hi
Document type AB is usually used for clearing the items and hence no amount will be posted.
