Status is not changing in PI sheet confirmation.

Dear Gurus,

I am doing partial /Complete confirmation through PI sheet.

I am doing teco also .

But status is not changing in the process order .

So please reply me your valuable suggestions

Hy Abhi,

Which PI catagory u r using for Phase Confirmation though PI sheet.

Elaborate all your process for confirming Process order through PI sheet.It will help to come close to the problem.

I am using following process instruction catagoreis

1.CONS_1

2.PROD_2

In the above both categories i have done setting for the partial confirmation .So please suggest me that one more process instruction category or any other settig .

Hy Abhi,

If I am not wrong you are talking about Phase Confirmation through PI sheet.Correct?

But among both this Catagory CONS_1 is used for Goods Issue thorough PI sheet(Process Massage PI_CONS - For Goods Issue) and PROD_2 is used for Goods Receipt through PI sheet (Process Massage PI_PROD - For Goods Receive)There is no PI catagory for Confirmation.If you want to Phase Confirmation then you have to use PH_CON Time ticket Confirmation for Phase (Process Massage PI_PHCON)

Dear Dhaval,

I tried to use PH_CON. But following error is showing at the time of creating process order.

Value cannot be assigned autom. to char. 0520 PPPI_UNIT_OF_MEASURE in proc.instr. 9999 phase 0020.

Hy Abhi,

There is no PPPI_UNIT_OF_MEASURE Characterstic in std. PH_CON.I think this error is from any other PI catagory.I think that is either of CONS_1 or PROD_1.Pls check unit of measure in any of the component is missing.

HI ,

I have entered the unit of measure manually. After that it is allowing to create the recipe . But after confirm,ation it is not genrating message so that it is not showing in the co54..

PI_PROD message only showing.

Hy Abhi,

Sorry for the delay.Actually I was trying to find out the reason.I also face the similar problem of the PPPI_UNIT_OF_MEASURE.

Then I have manually assign the unit.But In my case after completing the PI Sheet , process massage (PI_PHCON) was generated and after sending it through CO54.Status of concern phases was found updated also.

So pls check at your end PI sheet is set completed or not.

So that as per your suggetions i added following process instruction category .

**B**

PH_CON

When i am using all this combinations following results are showing .

1. When i am using A only goods movement posting is taking place but no status change for the process order.

2. When I am using A&B at that time also only goods movement is happening & no status change for the process order .

3. When only B is using at that time partial confirmation status is changing in the process order .

So please re[ply me what to do ?

I found the reason for the below mentioned problem & now i am able to do partial & complete confirmation successfully.

**A**

1.CONS_1

2.PROD_2.

**B**

PH_CON

When i am using all this combinations following results are showing .

1. When i am using A only goods movement posting is taking place but no status change for the process order.

Sol :-In this case i was using variable for the partial confirmation i.e. Y&Z respectivly . So that system was allowing because there is no repetation in the variable.

2. When I am using A&B at that time also only goods movement is happening & no status change for the process order .

Sol:- In this case I have used variables for the partial confirmations are Y , Z for CONS_1 , PROD_2. & Again Z for PH_CON. So that system was not allowing the repetation of the variable.

When only B is using at that time partial confirmation status is changing in the process order .

In thsi Case only z variable was using only in one process instruction category i.e. PH_CON. So that it was allowing .

Now i have give three different variable like Z, Y & A for the process instruction categories above mentioned.

Now it is working fine .

Hy Abh,

Reason is

:- Process Massages are still not send from CO54.

Go to CO54 select Plant , Date , Order no. and then got Created/ Sent tab.Select all Process massages (Which may be PI_CRST2/PI_CRST - For Control Recipe Completion ,

PI_PHCON - For Operation/Phase Confirmation etc.)and press send Button.Then check the Order status in COR2.
