Help required for AS/400 Kernel Uprgade procedure

Hi All Sap Gurus,

I am planning to do a kernel upgrade on my AS/400 machine.

The DEV & QAS is running on the same machine.I am planning to do the upgrade for DEV first.All I need to do is update the *dw.sar file.*Can any Gurus here who has done this before provide me a step by step procedure on how to do this.I would really appreciate if someone can aid me here.Would be really grateful.Thanking all in advance.

Hi John,

Details for how to install a patch on AS/400 (newer: iSeries or latest version: IBM i) are described in note 49365.

For this type of platform specific questions and a better chance to find experts regarding this you may want to visit forum SAP on DB2 UDB for i5/OS (DB4) ([😉 and put further questions there.
