System copy and System Refresh

Hello to all expert,

This might be silly question to ask but I want to know whether there is difference between System copy and System Refresh, Client Copy and Client Refresh, Database Copy and Data Base Refresh, because this question was asked by one the team members of SAP golden partner company in Australia.

Hi,

System Copy is a method for performing system refresh. The same is applicable for client refresh and database refresh.

Hi,

When we for example make a cop of the database from system A to system B (system copy) you have refreshed system B. You have a fresh data in your system B. We do this from Production system to Test system. Then we say we have done a system copy from production system to the test system and we have refreshed the test system (system refresh). We refreshed the data on the test system.
