Hi Manoj,

Check your goods receipt UOM, Bcz sample size UOM calculated from Goods receipt UOM.

For your case i sure it will be in Tonne, that is the reason it will show sample size 1Tonne.

If you want UOM as KG you should change the UOM in Inspection plan under sampling procedure as KG.

For any query revert.

Hi,

1. For procurement: In QP02 check the UOM in under inspection characteristics screen in Sampling UOM what your maintain (Here in KG).

2. For 13 REM the above same thing you have to maintain in routing operation under Inspection characteristics.

3. Check in Material Master whether your maintain alternative UOM.

Like 1Tonne = 1000 KG. if not there maintain.

Let me know further query.

No. QM only works with BUOM. Therefore your smallest sample can only be 1 ton.

Why won't they allow you change the BUOM? Other modules can work in tons as long as the alternate UOM's are defined. The BUOM should always be the smallest UOM that might be used.

Are you saying that for this material you only ever weigh it in tons? What if the truck/railcar/freighter is a tad light or heavy?

Can I have the contract to deliver this material to you?
