Hi, I'm using CR XI.

I'm designing a report in 132 Column for Dotmatrix Print.

I have created a dummy printer like xlcrPrinter and

Model is Epson LX-1050+ This support 132 Column.

Everything looks proper in development comp.

In Production, Report does not display in 132 (wide) column on the contrary it display in A4.

Pls advise me what to do.

Please re-post if this is still an issue to the Legacy Application Development SDKs Forum or purchase a case and have a dedicated support engineer work with you directly

I did something similar, I went out to a "Plotter" web site... ie.. HP, IBM, whoever....

Find a driver for a plotter, and down load it. Then install the plotter as a printer in your windows environment.

You can then use that plotter as a "Paper source" in your report, now, of course you can not print to it,

but it will allow you to design a very wide report, and then you can export from that report to Excel, or whatever.

( I have one report, that "Thinks" it is 48 inches wide) but.... at least all 127 fields fit, and I can still read it....

Hello Schrab,

check if you have exactly the same printer driver and settings on both machines.

You could even try to install the CR Designer on the prod machines to see what you get in there.

Boss,

I checked , same printer driver are installed on both machines.

I have a License Copy or CR-XI and

I have distributed CR Runtime Merge Modules to Prod. Machine.

Pls give some idea.
