HI ALL

i have a query, i want to know where we are going to enter the name of the transporter and vehicle number when we are going to send the material to a customer. what exactly the procedure as far as sales and distribution module is concerned.

Hi there,

After creating the delivery, we also create a shipment doc that has all the details of the transporter, route & carrier details.

If your route has many stages, then the details will be entered in the stages tab in the shipment.

There you can enter the stage num, carrier num, truck num (in SCAC code).

Some shipment like bill of lading details are also found in VL02N --> Header --> Shipment details.

you can maintain the transporter and the vehicle number in the shipment document.Transorter number is the service agent field in the shipment header and the vehicle number can be entered in the SCAC code field in the header itself.

and for driver name in text u can mention
