Dear,

You can't change excise amount for invoice.

But i have one other solution for u.

If you want to change excise amount for invoice.

So first at the time of good receipt u can change excise amount as per your excise bill, If your migo is done then change excise invoice with J1IEX enter your required amount for excise invoice.

Then post it with J1IEX, Due to this at the time of vendor invoice creation system display u excise amount which you post in J1IEX.

Dear,

Other solution for you.

You can also change tax code in MIRO.

Enter MIRO, Enter your invoice number, and fiscal year.

Then press F7 - change mode.

After enter other detail for invoice select tax code manually as per your requirement, Click on tax tab change tax code.

Then go at item level click on Edit own condition tab and also chage Tax code as per your requirement.

Hi,

You can not change the Excise Duties during LIV in MIRO.

First of all take the credit of Additional Excise Duty by method of Excise JV in J1IH

And then in case of LIV, system will default only the Excise Duties posted in J1IEX, it will not propose the additional excise duty posted in J1IH.

So it is to be entered manually in u201CGL Accountu201D Tab after referring PO. And the amount of Additional Excise Duty will entered as Debit entry against CENVAT Clearing A/c. Also do not specify any Tax Code against this GL A/c.

For Excise JV method, refer following steps;

Making Adjustment Postings for Additional Excise Paid by Vendors

Use: - You follow this procedure if a vendor has increased the amount of excise duty that it originally charged you and you want to debit the difference to your CENVAT account.

Procedure: -

1. J1IH > Excise JV > Additional excise.

2. Enter data as required.

In the Document number field, enter then number of the document sent to you by the vendor.

3. Click on u201CEnteru201D button.

4. Adjust the posting date as necessary and Enter Vendor Name.

5. Enter the amount of excise duty in either of the following ways:

u2022 To enter line items for different materials and the excise duty accordingly, choose u201CDetailsu201D button and enter the line items in the table.

Here Enter Material code, quantity as per excise invoice, reference document (i.e. GRN Document), batch no., BED and Ed Cess Amount to be posted.

u2022 To enter the excise duty only, choose u201CHeaderu201D button and enter the excise duty in the totals fields at the foot of the screen.

6. If the duty qualifies as countervailing duty (CVD):

a. Select CVD applicable.

b. Enter the CVD amount in the BED amount field.

7. Specify which G/L accounts are to be posted to.

8. Save the adjustment posting.

System will post Excise JV Document; Accounting Document with Part2 Serial No has been successfully created.

Hi

No possible to change excise value in MIRO Transaction.

Because you already capture excise amts.BED ,ECESS,HECESS ETC.

Clear as per your PO base invoice .Then post EXCISE JV in transaction J1IS

hi

it is not possible to change tax ammount manually at the time of MIRO.

You can capture and post additional excise charged by vendor using Tcode J1IW then while doing MIRO it will take the exact tax amount.
