Reg - Waiting Queue long time.

Hi Guru,

I run the back up, the following message is waiting for very long time. Pls advise how to rectiry..

"Waiting for reply to message on message Queue QSYSOPR"

Hello Rajesh

This means that there is a message waiting to be answered on the QSYSOPR message queue.

to access the message queue, on the green screen commond line, issue the command:

DSPMSG QSYSOPR

and the scroll through the messages to see what is happening...

You will probaly see something with Tape library or checkpoint or commitment control. or something related...

Do a C to cancel, I to ignore and so on and so forth....
