Call / launch Crystal Reports from Microsoft Excel

I am developing an application and I am using Crystal Reports for the charts.

I would love to embed a Crystal Report into the worksheet.

However, at the least I would like to know how to call a Crystal Report from within Microsoft Excel. I will use some VBA to call the report.

I believe the easiest way to call a report in Excel would be to create a hyperlink in the worksheet to the rpt file.

That sounds great. However, I have parameters. Is there somewhere where I can get the syntax for a URL to code in connection strings and parameter values?

I seem to remember doing that with an html page with Crystal 8 years ago.

I need to call Crystal from a word document and pass information along as well. From fields using macros.
