sales order costing

Hi ! When i create a sales order type YMEA (original order) and then select the costing calculation (ctrl F7) I get a message to chose between product costing and unit costing. Is there any way to chose by default product costing ?

Hi,

To automatically determine the sales order costing, in the IMG (customizing), Enter the default values for costing in the requirements class. Typically the following customizing needs to be carried out:

1. Define a condn type for pricing through costing. The condition type must have condition category Q (costing).

2. Add the condn type to the pricing procedure.

3. Then Enter the default values for costing in requirement class - This will specify whether the cost estimate is manually created, automatically created, or automatically created and marked. (Unit costing is typically used to enter individual costing items manually)
