How can I highlight values for KF based on difference from previous

I have a query listing inventory qtys by material by date. I'd like to highlight any value that is different from one date to the next. Can this be done with a condition? In the example below I'd like to highlight 20 on 9.3 and 40 on 9.2.

9.1.08 9.2.08 9.3.08

A 10 10 20

B 5 5 5

C 50 40 40

Thanks you, Julie

Bring the query into the workbook, then create a second tab that basically copies the query cells from the other tab, ie. A6 on new tab = to I 18 on query tab looks like "=Table!I18". Then use conditional formatting on the values by highlighting the cell - Formatting - Conditional Formatting and creating a condition "Cell Value Is not equal to the cell to it's immediate left, i.e. D7 not equal to C7. Select whatever format you want for this condition, ie. highlight or bold etc.

I put the query in a workbook and used the excel conditional formatting. It was much easier.

Create a formula to calculate difference between present and previous.

create an exception when the value is other than zero for that formula kf.

that should solve ur problem.
