I have noticed that the Knowledge Base Search function does not reset the search criteria in the query string ( keywords=.....) in Search.aspx page even if no results are returned
Am I correct in this or not using the system as intended?
If correct, is there a way to force a reset of the search (on search.aspx) using webflow perhaps or a little coding?
Geoff,
I am not exactly clear on your question, but i believe the simplest option would be to add a Link on the support page back to a blank knowledgebase page.

Sorry if I wasn't clear.
If you type say "printers" and hit search in Support/default.aspx it will take you to search.aspx
Irrespective of whether it finds any data if you then change the text in the search box it 'holds' the query string at keywords=printers
This means that the search box is pointless on search.aspx. ( the page as it stands equates only to 'search results' )
I think you're right - if I hide the search box and put a link to return back to support/default.aspx that would be OK.
however if there was a way of clearing the query string there on search.aspx using some sort of button this would be better.
Any ideas?
