Hi,
I have an issue in MRP result for a one plant.
MRP is creating a planned order for the material(For inhouse production E) eventhough there is sufficient stock to meet the PIR and on the wrong date (I mean: where sufficient stock is available)
If the Procurement type is change to F(External procurement) then the procurement proposal is getting created on the appropriate date (exactly on the shortage)
Please provide your suggestions is there any plant level settings that is influencing this behavior.
Thanks and regards,
Nataraj

Hi,
Check with the Pegging report (Pegged Requirements) in MD04.
The Planned Order may be created to replinish for other date.

Hi Natrajan,
Check if any in-house production time is maintained in the material master.
If In-house time is maintained then there is a possibility of creation of planned order earlier.
Also check the scheduling key you are using for the MRP run whether it is 1 or 2. Incase of 2 system will do lead time scheduling.
Thanks N Regards,
