start routine editor; how to find out the line number of errors

Hello,

I am writing a start-routine of an DSO.

The syntax-check gives me an error description at the bottom of the screen.

But I do not know in which line the error occurs.

In very long routines, it is very difficult to find out any simple syntax-error.

Any ideas, thanks

Armin

I've not check with DSO routines, but normally if you double-click on the error message the editor jumps to the offending line.

I have tried several times with a double-click, it does not function.

what error is it?

A better approach is to do a syntax check every couple lines or better every line so you know right then.

it is the same behavior with different errors.

I copy a long coding into the routine and then have to change some field names.

It is not a Problem with a single routine.

It is a general problem with the editor.
