Plant Maintenance - Maintenance Notification

From ih01 execution, we have the list of Equipments & Func. Locs.

Selecting equipment, if we go to Menu Bar

Go to -> Create Notification -> Maintenance request usually it goes inside the screen of M1 Notification. But it stands still as IW21 input screen.

After giving the Notification type only it flows.

While executing through above step it has to flow inside M1 Notification screen. How?

Hi,

Have you looked at transaction OQN7 to ensure the "Proc initial screen" is not checked.

Then when you use the menu path Goto > Notification > Create Maintenance Request this gives M1 Notification type defaulted and the initial screen is skipped.

Hi,

I don't expect it to set a notification type and skip the first screen unless the called transaction normally does this. IW21 does not normally do that. While IW24 usually sets notification type M2 and jumps to the main screen. So from IH01 if you choose a 'malfunction report' this calls IW24, sets notification type and skips the initial screen.
