Hi,
We upgraded our TREX to v7.0.40. Initially all seemed to go fine.
We start the system up - TREX works fine for indexing an searching. After a while (not yet found out what exactly) the TREX becomes unresponsive and we receive next error message when openening the TREX Admin console:
'communication error: timeout occured'
Does this sound familiar to anyone?

Geert,
You might want to refer to this SAP Note : 993828 - TREX : timeout for search requests
Hope this helps.

Hi Geert,
As mentioned above by ST (SapNote), update the "TREXTcpipClient.ini" and restart the TREX after.
Also check if you need to define a timeout for the TREX Java Client. See SapNote 1036075.
Hope that helps.
