Confirmation control key in PO

Dear All,

What is the use of conformation key in PO??

i know it is used to update the data given by vendor

I need to know more abt the confirmations 0001 given in std PO

After choosing that confirmation next what we need to do ??

confirmation means you need to create a inbound delivery and system will be then updating the number of the I/D in po.

actually what happens is when you create a po you send it to vendor and then vendor sends you the oredre acknowkledge ment

then he sends the shipping notification for stating that he will be sending this much quantity to you and to represent this advanced shipping notification you are going to create a inbound delivery. and then later on you recive the goods and you do the GR

if you need any more details on this do let me know as i also faced the same issue what you are goign through now
