Change BOM

Hello Everybody,

Can we change BOM in Production order (DLV Status) as, because of wrong BOM, Material consumption is wrongly posted.

or i have to make reversal of the difference quantity of wrongly posted material with reference to that production order.

Hi AM,

There is 2 option ,

- Correct Production order with Required BOM

- Correct only Wrong GI done.

For First option ,

You have to reverse all the transections like Confirmations , Goods Movement etc.Its quite difficult but to reassgin the required BOM you have to it.After reverse all the transection do "Read Master Data".It will change the order status to CRTD.Now you can change the BOM.

For Second option ,

Cancel the Material Document through MBST or incase of Auto GI cancel that confirmation.Then do GI for the correct component thorugh MB1A, MIGO or CO11N/CORN.

Hi,

As you need to change the BOM like add or remove the material , you need tochange the prodn order.

In that case you need to revoke the TECO to effect the changes

In cases such when you find there are some wrong postings against an order and you wnat to correct these like Wrong GRs, Wrong Goods Issues or some problems in entering the timings or confirmations of the orders.

In such cases we will revert the TECO and then reverse the confirmation and correct all the operations or GRs, GIs Cancel the Material Document by MBST and of cancel confirmation CO13.
