Hi,
I am not able to transfer PO with text item to GTS. The error system is throwing is "Maintain Customer product master in GTS", which i cannot do for a text item.
Has anyone faced a similar issue?

Configure an Item category NON-GTS in GTS.
Map this item category to the text item category in GTS.
In the 'Activation of Item category' configuration, do not activate NON-GTS.

It doesn't work.
What d you mean by [In the 'Activation of Item category' configuration] ? Can you lease give me the exact configuration path ?
Is it in General settings / document structure /Activate item categories for application Area.

you should use the enhancement:
SLLLEG01 Legal Services: Plug-In: Customer Enhancements
component: EXIT_SAPLSLL_LEG_CDPIR3_002 will be relevant in your case.
to make sure that the text items are not transferred to the GTS.
Using this enhancement you also can exclude the text items for sales orders or delivery notes if necessary.
I recommend to create a Project with transaction CMOD where you assign all enhancements that are relevant for GTS. This will always give you a quick overview of active and available exits.

hi,
text items are not relevant for GTS. Thus you should exclude such documents items from transfer. For this you need to implement a userexit or a badi in r/3.
But to avoid this error it is enough to create correxponding item types in GTS and map them with those in r/3.
