availability planning-error

hi,

i have an jdbc-xi-jdbc scenario.... i want the data to retreived onl at 2:00 am everyday. i did it using AVAILABILITY PLANNING in RWB...

but , there is no control over the sender communication channel...

the sender communication channel is working throughtout the 24 hours even if the availabilty planning is done for this communication channel...

what shall i do?

Hi,

Go to componenet monitoring and check whether the CC - control is set to Automatic instead of Manual.

If it is set to manual, the settings wont take effect.

HI,

It is possible in XI, we need authorization SAP_XI_ADMINISTRATOR and higher service pack, once u got authorization goto runtime work bench and set time for sender and receiver communication channel.

ya.... ours is PI 7.0 and SP14.....

i refered to the same blog which u provided.... but its not working....

the time zone of my server is CET.... but in RWB its IST... is that a problem?

U have to be on SP19 for Adapter Scheduling to work..

because i also got help from a senior xi consultant who told tat PI 7.0 SP 14 is a greater version than XI3.0 SP19....?
