Single Sales Order Multipler Production order

HI

I need to create multiple production order for a single item sales order. Is it possible ?

for Eg. i have received order for qty -- 100 & i want to create 10 different production order of qty 10 each. IS it possible ?

I need this to be done automatically.

Please susggest.

Hy Rupesh,

Yes , You can create no. of Production / Process order from single Plan order.

After runing MRP system will create plan order with reference to Sales order or PIR. Go to MD04 select that Plan order and double click.Pop up screen comes for conversion of plan order to Prod order or Sub Prod. order.Then select your required order qty (10) and create it.

You will find that original plan order qty will reduce to 90.Then create production order similarly

In case of Process order you can directly used T.code COR7_PC.

Would it always create the planned order for every sales order? Won't it be dependent upon the strategy?

Hi,

Strategy 81 creates planned order directly while you save sales order.

Strategy 82 creates production order directly while you save sales order.

You can use lot size definition to control the number of planned orders/production orders that should be generated per sales order.

Hi,

Based on order requirement system will give only Planned order then you have to mannually convert Planned order to Production order.

So for your scenarion system will give the Planned order as per your Order qty. Then you have partially convert the Planned oredr to Prod order as per your required qty.

Hi Rupesh,

If you maintain max lot size system always create the planned orders in the same multiples which we mentioned in the material master to satisfy the requirement and if at all any left over qty is there (less than the multiple qty),system will create separate planned order for that qty.

In customization for lot size t code OMI4 FX open the details screen of the lot size which u are using

in the details screen there is a indicator LAST LOT EXACT now if u tick this indicator then the system will create thelot exact

Ex:

order qty 100 pcs,

as per ur reqment the system will create 4 lots of 25 pc each Run MRP Try this if u get the solution,.

Please note Strategy group 82 or 83

With this strategy , When creating a sales order, you can Create a production order directly.

Dear Rupesh,

Wat's your scenario? Is it MTS or MTO? Which strategy do you use? These questions are needed to answered cos everything depends upon this. The requirement can be met if suitable strategy is used. Then after planning run the planned order for the customer order will be created. You can convert this planned order partially and as per your requirement in production order.
