hI,
MY CLIENT IS HAVING ONE SUPPLY CHAIN AND 2 MANUFACTURING PLANTS .
BUT SUPPLY CHAIN IS RELEVANT ONE MANUFACTURING
PLANT.
NO BILLING WILL HAPPENS FROM SUPPLY CHAIN UNIT.
HOW TO MAP SUPPLY CHAIN IN SAP(AS A EXTERNAL STORAGE LOCATION OR AS A PLANT)
BUT IT IS REGISTERED FOR TRADING ACTIVITIES

Thank you for your responce.what you have said is correct but right now i am woking in SAP A!FS.
in this we are not supposed to create new things .we have to utilise which are available in a!fs.

As you are referring to manufacturing plant and a distribution center (DC) in your supply chain. In R3 both are defined as plants only. The basic diff. in mfg plant and DC is that DC predominantly used for Sales activities. When you transfer these to APO as locations, both have the location type 1002 the only diff reamin in the node type, where you define in DRP customizing node type for DC. so that it is recognized by APO as DC.
Hope this information should help.
I guess you are interpreting distribution center as supply chain.You can have saparate plant location for supply chain unit in R/3 & in APO you can define it as distribution center.Billing can be optional for distribution center based on R/3 transactions.
