Copying WD elements across projects is not the best approach in web application development. To support team oriented development and for using the components developed by multiple users across components / DCs, NWDI is there in place. You may refer [this|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_erp2005/helpdata/en/62/1f5a42672ee054e10000000a155106/content.htm]. Convert all projects into DCs (if it is not already) and create public parts and define suitable dependencies so that it is accessible across DCs.
