Address data missing during user upload

Hi All,

I have a custom program to upload user to Org structure. This is developed by copying the program for USERS_GEN , as per specific requirement.

The program is working fine in the sense, the SU01 user is getting created as well as assigned to Org structure also. However the address data for the user is missing. When we check the address tab in SU01, some data like Room, Building, Floor, Telephone, Fax, Email etc. are missing.

Has anyone come across this before? Anybody tried to upload users from file through USERS_GEN? Does this occur when using USERS_GEN also?

Please suggest.

Hi ,

I could upload the csv file via USERS_GEN but check your program validates Details of file contents like email address, country , first name and telephone number etc...

but USERID, LASTNAME, ORG UNIT are mandatory.

Yes my file contains those details and I have mapped them to the address structure fields. But they are not getting updated.

After uploading CSV file did u get the address details filled in SU01?
