We have what seems to be a sporadic issue - in an EVDRE if we have parents, we can drill down 1 level, however, when we try to drill down on the next level, only the formula for that cell appears. Does anyone have an idea how to fix this so a user can drill down to the base level??
Thanks,
Teri
We were looking for how to easily switch from drilling down to the next level than to the base level, like in Essbase, but it doesn't seem like that is possible.

Hi,
you can indeed select the highest parent in the selection and choose self, dep as expansion
or you can work with ldep(5) for example in the expansion (this means it goes 5 levels deep)
--> you can add a combo box and choose how much level you want to go deep. Using a VLOOKUP function, depending on what you whoose in the combo box your expansion changes
Best regards,
Benjamin

Hi Teri,
Please note that the level to which you are drilling down is sensitive to the settings of the memberset for that dimension. If its set to "self" your drill down path will be limited. Try entering ''self, dep", select the highest parent for that dimension, expand and now drill down. You should be able to reach the base level.
