Hi All

Is there any dependency on iforecord, for creating a sourcelist??

Can't we create source list with the inforecord?

HI ,

there is no dependency of inforecord in sourcelist.

u can generate source list automatically as mentioned .

1.Goto Tcode ME01

2.Enter material and plant.

3.click on "Generate records" ( Ctrl+F7 )

system generates sourcelist

There is No Dependency betweeen Info Record and Source List.

A Source List Can also be Created With out Info Record.

An Info Record will Become Mandatory If you have Fixed any Vendor in Souce List For a Particular Period of Time.

HI,

There is no link between the two Inforecord and source list.

But these two records are mandatory documents for SOURCE DETERMINATION and AUTO PO. Quota arrangement document is also used for generating Auto PO.

There is no dependancy but if the source list exist without info record or contract than there is no use of definig soucelist

the purpose of source list is to streamline your procurement process so buyer can not by other than the source is defined in the source list and when you create the PR system will suggest the source from source list and same apply in to auto PO (ME59N)

Hi,

Source List and Purchase Info Record both are used for Source Determination purpose. And generally there is no interdependebility b/w these 2.

Purchase Info Record is required only if in Source List, you cativate a Vendor as Fixed Soure of Supply then system demands for Purchase Info Record.

Dear,

There is not any dependency between info record and source list.

But you can create source list with info record.

Enter ME11, go in Extra then click on source list, Here you can maintain source list for material.

If you set source list indicator for material in purchasing view, so source list is mandatory for material at the time of purchase order creation. Info record is not mandatory transaction.
