what is the difference between sm35, sm36, sm37
please explain in simple words as i wont have much time to read big big study material. if somebody can explain me in few words.
i have a job name here and its corresponding program name. i want to see when it failed today or yesterday . how can i check it?
since it failed, a file was not generated, how to re generate it?
Hi,
SM35 - is to reprocess the batch input data sessions and generally used when uploading of data into SAP from thirparty..
SM36 - is to set up or create a new job in back ground
SM37 - is to monitor the existing back ground jobs.
As per your thread, U just go to SM37 t.code there u just give job name and then execute. U will see the job status every day whether it is successful or failed. If it is failed then u just rerun the job by copying the failed job through menu bar and see the result for that job..
