Our company has SCM 5.0 integrated with R/3 4.6C. Neither system is Unicode. The SCM system has the maximum 3 languages installed (EN, ES, CS). In our R/3 system we now have Polish users (PL). We will not have Polish users in SCM/APO.
Material masters are being created with EN and PL descriptions. When a material description is updated (in Polish) the CIF sends the change but the CIF queue is blocked with message 'Choose one of the installed languages'. I can simply start the queue in /sapapo/cq and the data is processed.
What are some ideas on how to automatically process these description changes? We will change SCM or R/3 to Unicode language support until 2009 or later.
Thanks,
Mike
Hi Mike,
You need to install Polish langauage in your APO, please check what langauge you have in R/3 and APO through t code :SMLT.
Ask you Basis team to install Polish language , once it just active all blocked queue .

Hi Manish,
SCM systems (on NetWeaver without Unicode support) are restricted to max of 3 logon languages. We have used all three languages prior to requiring Polish. So unfortunately we cannot install Polish on the SCM system.
