Partner function is not copied from the preceding document

Hi Experts,

We are working on CRM 5.0 .

I am creating Complaint as a followup transaction to the sales order. In partner determination I have defined the acess sequence for partner function " employee responsible" as Preceding document --> Current user .

This is working fine with GUI, but when I am creating complaint from web IC with reference to the sales order the partner function is not considered from the preceding document. It is only considering the current user.

Can anybody help me in solving this issue

Hi Madhu,

How are you creating a complaint as a follow-up of a sales order in IC Webclient ?

Are you using the 'reference transaction' functionality in the complaint header (which navigates to the Inbox to search for sales orders) ? Partner determination (including your access sequence) is executed before you select the reference transaction from the inbox.

Hi,

In ICWC, as a work around, you will have to provide the partner manually.
