Hi Gurus,
We are implementing cProjects and wanna integrate with HR module.
I started from business partners.
However, I couldn't manage to intergrate.
Anybody has any ideas regarding the issue?
Regards,
Dilek
Hi,
If your mySAP HR runs in a different system to cProjects, you have to distribute the
organizational plan (organizational structure) including the employees that belong to it (master
data, organizational assignment, and qualifications profiles) via ALE from the SAP HR system
to the cProjects system.
Refer to the cProjects Configuration Guide. You will get the config Guide for version 4.5 in SAP note: 1119326

Reema.

Hi!
Quotation from Configuration Guide:
Use
This section is relevant to cProjects from Support Package 2 onwards and to ERP as of
Support Package 1. Only carry out the steps described in this section if you are using
cProjects in combination with an ERP system. In this case, your mySAP HR is installed on the
same system as cProjects.
In cProjects, employees are represented as business partners in the role of Employee. If you
use your mySAP HR and cProjects in the same system, you have to ensure that each
employee in mySAP HR has a business partner with the appropriate data in cProjects.
Prerequisites
You defined the RFC destination NONE.
Procedure
1. In Customizing for Collaboration Projects, deactivate the use of WFD Core for the
qualification matchup and the search by deleting the X under Value abbr. in the activity
Activate Qualification Matchup and Search Using WFM Core.
2. Start the HR_SYNC_PERSON report. The report creates a new business partner in the
Employee role from newly-created employees or changes existing business partners
according to the changes made to the employee data. You can select new employees
directly or enter them via a particular time period for changes or via the organizational
unit.
3. To ensure that new employees or changes to the data are always updated in cProjects,
schedule the HR_SYNC_PERSON report to run daily.
You perform the following steps only if you are using WFM Core.
4. Start report RPTWFMIF. This report creates time data as time specifications in WFD.
a. Enter NONE under RFC Destination for WFM Core.
b. Set the Synchronous Update indicator.
5. To ensure that changes to the data are always updated in cProjects, schedule the
RPTWFMIF report. Make sure that the corresponding WDF resources exist.

Konstantin,
Your info helped me a lot.
However, I still have one doubt.
When I run HR_SYNC_PERSON for org units, it OK.
However, for Employees, I am getting a short dump.
(CALL_METHOD_NOT_IMPLEMENTED.
CX_SY_DYN_CALL_ILLEGAL_METHOD.
-->CALL METHOD EXITINTF->CONVERT_HR_TO_BP)
What I want is to define employees as business partners.
Do you have any idea regarding this issue?
By the way, from which transaction central persons are created??

Sorry, but here I can't help unfortunately.
Hi!
If you haven't your user-ID for logon to support portal, I can find the whole configuration on help.sap.com:
- at [Configuration guide for CPR 4.5|http://help.sap.com/SCENARIOS_BUS2007/helpdata/EN/d8/0d134e26b6ce43a03c09bcc12ba58b/frameset.htm] look at the section [From SAP HR to cProjects in SAP PLM|http://help.sap.com/SCENARIOS_BUS2007/helpdata/EN/bb/96ae7633f5c540a6e10e406cbe322a/frameset.htm]

Hi, Dilek!
Did you have cProjects installed on CRM or ERP system?
If on CRM:
1. [SAP Note 312090 - Integration HR - EBP/CRM|https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/312090]
Here you'll find information about (technical) integration HR.
2. [Service Resource Planning|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_crm50/helpdata/en/e6/0f2288993743198bf26a2191635525/frameset.htm]. Pay attention to chapter [Integration to cProjects|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_crm50/helpdata/en/b3/1043d463e94c26b3f3135f62d226a9/frameset.htm] - here described the process transferring from HR to cProjects.
3. If you want to integrate CATS too, it would be helpfull [SAP Note 954860 - Setting up ALE to integrate cProjects with CATS|https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/954860]
And of course, the main "entry point" is [Project Resource Planning|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_ppm400/helpdata/en/e8/00c73c52aacf5be10000000a114084/frameset.htm]
