STO - Storage Location to Storage Location

Hi

Is there facility in 4.6C version to set up storage locaion

to storage location transfer STO ?

B'Coz iam not able to found Customizing setting in SPRO.

Hi,

In 4.6 C version you will not get the Storage location to storage location Stock transfer option.

This is applicable to the ECC version only.

In 4.6C version you can adapt the Transfer posting from Storage loc to Storage loc using the Movement type 311,

but if you need the delivery type, Shipping data for Stock transfer b/w Storage loc to Storage location it is not possible in 4.6 C version. It is only avalibla in ECC versions.

Use T.C MB1B MvtTyp 311 (Transfer. with plant St.Loc to St. Loc), STO is used for Transfer between plants

STO is meant for plant to plant either in different company code or in same company code.

to move the stock from one storage location to another u have to use MB1B with movement type 311

u can use mov type 311 for the transfer from strorage location to storage loc

but i think plant to plant sto is possible
