ALV Spreasheet download..

Hi all,

I facing below mentioned problem,

I want to an ALV in spreadsheet, i am using List->export->spreadsheet.

I am having total 55 columns. when i tried to do above iot is giving me error that data exeeding the limit.

Is there any limit for this if yes then how it is calculating?

Please help me in sorting out this. Thanks for your reply in advance.

Hi,

Use the FM 'GUI_DOWNLOAD'.

Thanks Amit for your quick response. but user wants to use the same method to convert to spreadsheet format.

Even it is displying proper data when i use download to local file.

list - export - local file

But when i use Spreadsheet its not working.

list - export - spreadsheet

Hi,

Instead of going directly to spread sheet,Have tried like going like this path.

In the menu at the ALV Output:

List>Export>Local File -->Select Spread sheet -->Give file name and generate.

Do you have any reason. why it is working from list export localfile spreadsheet and not working when we use spreadsheet directly.

Hi,

If you want it the client wants,Just ask him yo go like this:

List>Export>Spread sheet>Then Select the Table radio button(Not the Pivot Table).>Enter>Save>Give File name and Save.
