Hi,

*IR*-- tools->export objects

And give which u want to transport. It will download .tpz in the following path

export Path: /sapmnt/XD1/global/xi/repository _server/export

File: XI3_0_BS_eccwebservice.tpz

Now go to that path copy the file and place in /sapmnt/XQ1/global/xi/repository _server/import in the quality server.

Then import using tools->Import transport object

ID

In SLD go to business system which u want to transport , click on the business system below all the info will appear ..Click on the transport tab give the source business system and target business system(Quality) and save

Go to ID -->tools->export objects

And give which u want to transport. It will download .tpz in the following path

export Path: /sapmnt/XD1/global/xi/directory _server/export

File: XI3_0_BS_eccwebservice.tpz

Now go to that path copy the file and place in /sapmnt/XQ1/global/xi/directory _server/import in the quality server.

Then import using tools->Import transport object

Hi,

Using File System we can transfer to Development to QA(Testing) OR Using CMS.

Using File System:

1.Call the Context menu for a namespace or a software Component version in the Integration Builder navigation tree and choose Export------Or Choose Tools -- Export Design objects.

2. Select the Transport using File System mode and follow wizards instructions

3 The Integration Builder saves a binary export file with the suffix .TPZ in the export directory of the repoistery Server.

4. Do not change the file name of the export file. If you do the Integration Builder will not accept it as the appropriate file when you import.

5. To import the export files to anthor Integration Repoistery, first copy (or) move it to the Import directory of the target repoistery.

6. call the design maintenance serene of the Intergration Builder for the target repoistery choose tools

-

> Import Design Objects.

7. Select the export files saved in the import directory by using the dialogbox that apprears.

8. If the import is successful , the export files are moved to the subdirectory<ServerDir>/XI/Repoistery-server/Imported Files.

Hi

Basically there are two types of transports available in XI. CMS and File Transports.

For Both the transports you need to right click on the particular namespace and say export , it will guide you through the rest of the steps.

There are two ways to Transport XI objects-

1) File Import/Export

2) CMS--- now CTS+ is also available

CMS is somewhat standard way to do. Becuase you can track the objects. But for this you need to install the CMS separately.

just go thru these quick links-

http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/e1/69a740aa053a13e10000000a155106/frameset.htm

Also check in service.sap.com- for how to guides-

File Transport

there is not much to do if you're using file transport IR, you just export (from the menu) and import the same way in the target IR

ID you just have to specify transport targets (so names of your business systems will change)

Configuring Groups and Transport Targets.

if you're having one SLD

if not then you should also copy sld

so that all sld's data will be consistent
