Hi All,

one of PSA of business had 30th and 31st of Aug as working days (inspite of weekly off) and was off on 1st and 2nd sep.

How to make changes in System please guide

Hi Aman,

You can create special days [Time Management --> Work Schedules --> Day Types --> Define Specila days] to the Day Type rule that your WS is being used.

And Regenerate the WS!!!

Hope this will resolve the issue.

hello Gurus,

if we have to change dws of number of employees say 100 or more how can we do that???

Hi

You can try using TC PT02.

Change the DWS on 30th & 31 th as Working day and for 1st & 2nd Sep as Off. Save the changes.

If yo use Pranav solution don't forget to check for retro calculation of Time eval. I don't remember if it triggers automatic or if you have to do it manually

Is it a massive change? Can't you use IT2003 if it won't come back again?

Hi,

we have not confogured the infotype 2003, also there is another issue that we have 3 different PSA in north with same work schedule. where as business have changed the weekly off for 1 PSA only that to for that particular dates only.

Also i dont have any idea that how infotype 2003 will effect the payroll.

Please guide

Hi Aman Ahuja

I would like to give u the best and the easy solution for this requirement.....

please Get all the Employee numbers belonging to that PSA using a standart report in PA module...

Then Upload 2003 Substitution infotype for all those employees using LSMW or BDC or even PA71 (Fast Entry)...

U must 2003, since this one work schedule rule is used by other PSAs also ....

In Time evaluation, system reads the work schedule and as well as the 2003 infotype and therefore overrides what it reads from 0007.

The Concept of Substitution is very simple ..

Whwnever u want to override the employees actual work schedule, then we use 2003.

there are types of substitutions like

Based on DWS

Based on Employee number

Based on Work Schedule Rule

Etc

Etc

We need to configure only Substitution types in SPRO....

Rest u can understand by seeing the screen of 2003.
