Service oriented project - PS

Hello Everybody,

This is Service oriented project.Every milestone when it is reached,invoice will happen and revenue will be posted to WBS element.

This is the process which we are looking.for example

Duration:1 Year

First stage billing willl happen at end of every 3 month revenue will be posted to WBS element.And also cost incurred during this period will captured in WIP and also closed at this stage.

Second stage:They want to start a new WIP to capture cost incurred in the second stage and end of this stage revenue will be posted to WBS and WIP also will be closed.

During this process we also want send billing status(FNBL or PTBL) to WBS element.

Is it possible to send the information to WBS automatically from SD.

I heard from PS people once WIP is closed,we cannot restart WIP again.

standard process - milestone billing can be used for this

the project manager will complete the milestone, which will trigger the removal of billing block on the milestone billing plan on sales order document and then generate billing document
