Object creation in OM

Hi gurus

Can we create a duplicate organisation unit with same object id in present OM structure.

For example in OM structure, there is a Sub-orgunit (700000243) under orgunit 70000001. Can we create same sub orgunit with same id (700000243) under different orgunit (700000002)?

OM object can exist only once in the organizational chart.

No dulipate record as a key value is required inthe HRP* tables

Hi,

In Standard SAP system, one org unit can have just one parent but if you want to show dual reporting than you can create your own relationship subtype and capture the name of the secondary orgunit in it. But this will not appear in the org chart. Just for record purpose in the reports.

No..It cant be under 2 organizational Units..In this case,

If you try to create a relationship with other organizational unit,the earlier one will get delimited..At a time,only One.
