HI,

I have installed srm on oracle database.

The system was up and running.

Now recently when i tried to start the system, it is giving me the following errors.

and the system shutsdown immediately.

possible network problems detected - check tracefile and adjust the DNS settings [dpxxtool2.c 5403]

ERROR => NiIRead: SiRecv failed for hdl 4 / sock 1424

      • ERROR => DpProcKill: kill failed [dpntdisp.c 371]

When i check the database, the database is not up.

I tried to restart the database. it is giving me the following error generic error.

ERROR: ORA-01092: ORACLE instance terminated. Disconnection forced.

when i check in trace file i get the following error:

Errors in file d:\oracle\srm\saptrace\usertrace\srm_ora_3328.trc:

ORA-00704: bootstrap process failure

ORA-39700: database must be opened with UPGRADE option

Error 704 happened during db open, shutting down database

USER: terminating instance due to error 704

Your guidance is greately appritiated.

Dhananjay

Please open database with STARTUP UPGRADE

Now shutdown the database & Startup Normaly.
