Hi all,

Is there any need for all XI service users to have same password?

Does any difference in service user pwd create problem in SLD from recognising business systems?

What is the influence of Servicers pwd on CPAcatche, SLD, Business systems etc?

Request for clearty on these.

No. It could be different.

No

Just u should to follow SAP Note 721548 while changing any password.

XI service user pwd change shall be done by basis only. So changing procedure is not being given here.

YES. service user must have reqd authzn.

sld connectivity depends on user. u can check in SLDAPICUST tcode and user must be correct.

I could not understood the above. But PIAPPLUSER is the usename in SLD when checked using 'SLDAPICUST' . What it should be? How to know whether it is correct or not?

I had given an example of service user - PIAPPLUSER / XIAPPLUSER. Any service user will impact PI.
