My new service was not found by the browser

Hi,

When I am running my ITS service via SE80 Internet service->Execute I see on the browser the message:

- The termination occurred in system SRD with error code 404 and for the reason Not found.

- The selected virtual host was 0 .

Before executing I saved and published my ITS Service.

How can I be sure that my service was published? What could be wrong?

Unfortunatly, I don't see my service in the list under the ITS directory.

What I need to do in order to see my service in the list?

in integrated ITS apaprt from creating the service from transaction se80 you also need to create the service in transaction SICF .

I didn't find from where in transaction SICF I can activate the custom service.

I'll appreciate if you can write it.

go to transaction SICF and expand the tree and reach the following

/default_host/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/

you should see your service here and it has to be activated. (right click->activate)

( i am still assuming that you are using Integrated ITS)

Hi Raja,

I looked at the Test Service tab:

The Integrated ITS radio button is active.

The server name and path looks o.k. (other SAP services

are working fine with this destination).

i assume that you are using integrated ITS.

if yes

have you activated the custom service from transaction SICF.

have to published your service to site INTERNAL

is it using Integrated ITS or standalone ITS?

to run it from SE80->service->execute

you have to maintain setting from SE80->utilities->settings->Internet transaction server

Test Service tab.

choose other servers radio button and maintain the server and path details of your ITS server
