Rebate amount is to be resrticted to max Rs.1.5 lac

Dear SAP Guru's,

We have been using customer rebate (0003) and now we want to resrict the value to 1.5 lac irrespective of the rebate percentage.

Hi

To my knowledge it is not wise to do this and it all depends on the planning to limit the rebate payouts to 1.5 lacs. The time period, rebate percentages, quantity, materials can be considered while planning to restrict the total rebate amount to 1.5 lacs. You cannot stop passing on the rebates to the eligible customer if your total accruals reaches 1.5 lacs. This leads to disputes with the customers.
