EXCHANGE_PROFILE_ACCESS error in Communication Channel

Dear All,

We are facing trouble in RWB.

Scenario:

SLD is running on separate server (Solution Manager on Windows)

XI [PI 7] on Solaris

IR, ID is working fine. SLDCHECK successful. We are able to import software components in IR.

But when we try to check communication channel through RWB, we face following error:

Received XI System Error. ErrorCode: EXCHANGE_PROFILE_ACCESS ErrorText: ErrorStack: Error while reading exchange profile for system XID and client 100

Transmitting the message to endpoint http://<host>:8000/sap/xi/engine?type=entry using connection File_http://sap.com/xi/XI/System failed, due to: com.sap.aii.af.ra.ms.api.RecoverableException: EXCHANGE_PROFILE_ACCESS:.

We have searched for notes, but couldn't find any.

Any help please.

hi

check whether the role SAP_BC_AI_LANDSCAPE__DB_RFC

is assigned to the user which is maintained in the connection data

Thanks for your response.

The user PILDUSER assigned in exchange profile has role SAP_BC_AI_LANDSCAPE__DB_RFC with profile generated.

Any other reasons you might comprehend??

The problem was in scenario designed by development guy. He designed another one which worked.

We did not make any changes as far as I remember between the two.

Hi Sean,

Can you acces your Exchange profile via http://host:port/exchangeProfile

If so, check connection section in exchangeProfile.

Have you got any locked user? TC SUIM --> user --> with unsuccesful logons

Thanks for your response.

Yes I can access exchange profile on link you mentioned and connection also works fine as I mentioned earlier. All users are unlocked. I've cross checked their roles many times.

The port number is 8000 which is for ABAP engine. Also none of the users are locked, plus we can access exchange profile through http://host:port/rep. There PILDUSER is used and connection is working.
