Netweaver PI 7.1 Install Error - EXPORT CD inccorect?

Hi All,

I have just downloaded and am installing NW7.1 PI on Solaris but the install fails on the Oracle Database Export CD I have downloaded.

I checked and double checked the CD I was downloading, I re transfered it to my installation server a couple of times but still it complains about the wrong DB export CD.

Here is the error:

You entered: /data/PI71/DBEXP1 Found the label SAP:NETWEAVER:2007:DVD_EXPORT:NetWeaver 2007 Export DVD:D51033237 but need the label SAP:NETWEAVER:2004sSR2:EXPORT(1/3)::

The CD I have downloaded is CD num: 51033237 and its from the same download page as all of the other NW7.1 PI stuff I have downloaded.

Does anyone have any idea what Im doing wrong,

Hi Dimi,

I think you have used a wrong installation master.

Use below

NW 7.1 Inst.Master Solaris on x64 64bit ORACLE

NW 7.1 Inst.Master Solaris on SPARC 64bit ORACLE

Hi Dimi,

As you have taken sr2 installation master it is looking for that export.

Try below combination take one kernel either unicode or non-unicode.

For sparc MACHINE

51033240_21 NW 7.1 Inst.Master Solaris on SPARC 64bit ORACLE

51033237 SAP NW AS ABAP 7.1 Inst. Export

51033245_2 NW 7.1 UC-Kernel 7.10 Solaris on SPARC 64bit OR

51033245_8 NW 7.1 Kernel 7.10 Solaris on SPARC 64bit

FOR X64 MACHINE

51033240_23 NW 7.1 Inst.Master Solaris on x64 64bit ORACLE

51033237 SAP NW AS ABAP 7.1 Inst. Export

51033245_3 NW 7.1 UC-Kernel 7.10 SOLARIS on x64 64bit OR

51033245_4 NW 7.1 Kernel 7.10 SOLARIS on x64 64bit
