Hi,

This error is caused by an 'external' program outside of SAP environment. The BRTOOL calls this backint utility which fails to return successfully. For further explanation please refer to the Note

17163 BRARCHIVE/BRBACKUP messages and codes

As the backint is a third party tool, please contact your third party vendor for support in solving this problem.

Best regards,

Hi Rohan,

Are you using any backup software to manage SAP Backups? Has anything changed? Any upgrades done to backup software?

2008-09-03 14:45:53 BR0278I Command output of '/usr/sap/RD1/SYS/exe/run/backint -u RD1 -f backup -i /lms/oracle/RD1/saparch/.adystlhx.lst -t file -p

Hello Nisch,

We are not using any 3rd party tools for scheduling the background jobs.

We are doing it manually through DB13.

This is a new system, we haven't done any upgrade.

Thanks,

Rohan
