Virtual characteristic attribute

Hello

I have a virtual characteristic that is a derivation from Profit center (is populated with profit center value based on some logic).

I need a couple of navigational attributes of profit center on the virtual characteristic.

So I've made the virtual characteristic a reference of profit center.

The nav attributes are turned on in the cube.

Now when I run the report, I don't see values for the navigational attributes. However, if I make them display attributes, I get the data.

Is there anything I'm missing, in order to get the values when they are turned on as navigational?

Thanks

Puja.

Hi,

you cannot navigate or restrict on navigational attributes of a virtual characteristic as the value of the virt. char is determined right after the data was read from the database (cube). The master data (displ. attrs.) will be displayed that is ok, but no restriction and navigation because of the derivation of the values at query runtime.
